Lobster Exo-skeleton - Elijah

I thought Bob, my lobster, had multiplied yesterday. Then we realized that one of them was just the exo-skeleton. This is it.

Bob now only has one large front pincher (the right) instead of two. It looks like he ripped off the other one when he was coming out of his old exo-skeleton. I think the black part (circled) on the joint is part of the old one. He's a lot bigger though. I hope the exo-skeleton dries well enough to save it. "Cool!"

Here he is molting, then he started freaking out...trying to right himself (2nd video), we guess.

When I first saw the clouds I was amazed by God's artwork. After I took the picture I wished that the whole world could see it.

While Mom was filling the car with gas, I noticed the clouds. I asked if I could use her camera phone to take a picture. This is one of the pictures I took. "Ahhhh!"

Mini-marshmellow Shooter

This year Daddy and Elijah made mini-marshmellow shooters out of PVC pipe for the "party favors". Elijah said it was the best party favor ever! His Uncle Zach even took one home for himself. I'm thinkin' he needs to make another one for Aunt Nessa so she can defend herself!

Birthday Cake

It's Elijah's b-day again! Last year we surprised him with a grasshopper cake, and so the precedent was set. This year at least a week before the big day, he put tabs throughout his bug books, marking his next "cake". This year it was a Frothing Tiger Moth. He was pretty excited and still surprised. It was one of the bugs I, Mom, had nixed as, "it would be too difficult".
They were a team effort. Daddy did the baking, Mom cut and decorated. But don't be fooled! Daddy made an exceptional horse for our niece, Sheinah, last year. I gotta find that pic and add it in here.
