Holy mackeral: Where'd it...?

I bought a model rocket a couple of days ago. Got to launch it today before my Grandpa and Grandma left. It went so fast and so high it was hard to spot it until the parachute deployed. Mom only got the launch but Dad got all of it. It's kind of hard to see once the parachute deploys, but at least you can hear everything. If you listen real close you can hear Mom on Dad's video, too, "Holy mackeral! Where'd it go?!" Elijah

We may have all been a little tired from all the festivities, but it looks like the 'Invisible Man" was plum tuckered out!

Merry Christmas!

Had a mini Christmas celebration on Monday with my Mom & Dad and Zach & Ness and their kids, Abi and Zeke. We did it first thing in the morning before Zach & Ness and the kids headed out to Monte Vista. I think it may have been a little too early from the looks of it, but we had a great time!

Nursing Shawl

T and M this is for you inparticular. It's a pic of the nursing shawl from the store and the one I made for M; with buttons. I hope you like it and that it works well. The one I made is slightly shorter I think, but it is also a little wider. It's mailed and should arrive on Saturday or Monday according to lady. Sorry took me forever. S-

Fall Festival

We went to the Fall Festival this year at church. At the last minute the girls announced that Naomi was going as a cat and Eliya was gonna be a princess. Mom of course started to object, as we were supposed to be leaving, not beginning costumes! %-/ But Naomi was quite confident there wasn't any problem...she knew what clothes she could wear and all I needed to do was "make a mask". How can you argue with that? Of course,it needed to be done (and dried) in about an hour. The princess was easy - Eliya's a natural! By the time Naomi was dressed and had her tail on, I found some old face paints and voilà. Wish we could have had her tail in the pic. She's getting pretty creative! She used a feather band from an old cowboy had; it was perfect. At the festival, they had face painting so Eliya had a butterfly done on her face...so I guess she ended up as a butterfly princess. Elijah went as Marvy Snuffleson. :D An inside joke for you RazzleFlabben Islanders.
